Our Work
BOKA RESTAURANT GROUP—formerly known as the Bellemore—the goal was to concept the restaurant’s original layout into a casual Italian dining experience. “Your neighborhood Italian restaurant by Chef Lee Wolen and Boka Restaurant Group.” From ideation to creative services and sourcing—we led the environmental design to build a cohesive and transformative ambiance. Purposely designed to engage all the senses. Production and execution included: flooring, lighting, seating, tables, wall colors/textures, hardware, signage, and all other fixtures and finishes.
The Goal: transform a neighborhood favorite Irish Pub into a sleek cocktail lounge.
Design Concept: London inspired old-world elegance molded with modernness to create a moody, welcoming cocktail lounge. From creative ideation to custom fabrication and architectural restoration, we created an intimate, alluring, urban oasis balancing essential elements to create a cozy atmosphere featuring rich tones, floor to ceiling velvet drapes, and collection of suspended pendants.
Concept: Fresh, optimistic, with a large splash of joy! The bar & lounge refresh for Carnivale in Chicago featured a stunning creative concept of spontaneous color and luxury and was brought to life in just 15 days. A team of 14 muralists meticulously hand-painted 1,000 palm leaves, which were used to create a captivating ambiance that inspires the imagination of guests. The slow-moving, colorful palm leaves in the lounge area create a sensation of a warm breeze swirling around you, adding to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Production and execution also included: custom fabrication, upholstery, lighting, styling, and other fixtures and finishes.
ADLER ON THE PARK
We call this room SENSORIAL EMBRACE. We intended to bring a youthful interpretation to a classic luxury setting. The idea of casual formality is set in an esthetic that mixes decades and time periods with a twist. This design aims to evoke optimism, laughter, and joy around a dining table as you savor a culinary experience.
Production and execution included: specialty painting and treatments throughout the space, custom printed graphic ceiling wallpaper, plantscapes, floral designs, refinished and upholstered furniture, high-end finishes, accessories, and graphic printed translucent application on the wall.
