Our Story

We understand what it takes to turn dreams into reality—it's been part of our own journey.

  • Bold Beginnings

    Kehoe Designs opened an 800 sq. ft. studio, focused on capturing the luxury event market.

    1996

  • Acquisition of Floral Exhibits

    Acquired the largest tradeshow plant rental company, Floral Exhibits.

    2008

  • Cutting-Edge Launch

    Pushing the envelope of immersive environments, we launched our state-of-the-art Technical Production Team.

    2012

  • A New Era Begins

    The artist neighborhood of Pilsen became the new home to over 230 employees in a 256,000 sq. ft. facility.

    2014

  • First Venue Launch

    Opened a sophisticated 25,000 sq. ft. venue, The Geraghty. Tom honors the lifetime of inspiration he received from his mother, Mickey Geraghty Kehoe, by naming The Geraghty in her memory. A visionary and welcoming hostess, Mickey knew just how to create an event to remember.

    2015

  • Designer Partnership

    Launch of Kehoe Collection, designer series with BBJ.

    2017

  • Now Introducing...

    Our newest division, BlackOak Technical Productions! Additionally, we opened our first satellite office in Milwaukee, WI.

    2019

  • A Global Shift

    In the midst of a global pandemic, we shifted to online floral orders, Green Market Garden pop-ups, Events to Go, and Virtual Events.

    2020

  • Expanded Interiors

    Celebrated 25 years in business and began permanent installs and interior design for retail and restaurants, starting with Alla Vita. This Chicago hot spot was later awarded a Michelin Plate in 2022.
